Derin received her BSc in Psychology from the University of Sussex in 2023. Her undergraduate thesis critically examined the validity of the Synchrony Judgment task as a measure of temporal binding windows. She is completed her MSc in the lab, where her research project investigated the role of cerebellar neuromodulation in reward behaviour.
